We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic School Liaison Manager to work as the College’s liaison with our growing number of partner schools.  Initially the jobholder will represent East Surrey College with the potential for this to become a wider College Group role.

 

You will have responsibility for driving engagement and promoting the whole College curriculum offer (including further and higher education). The role will involve travelling to local schools and presenting to young people, therefore confidence and the ability to engage and motivate your audience is essential. A background in an Education environment is essential.

 

Working closely with the curriculum Heads of Department and local schools, you will also support the development of the College’s 14-16 provision, ensuring quality assurance and supporting progression onto full time programmes.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A full teaching qualification
  • Excellent communication skills, working on a 1:1 support basis or with larger groups
  • The ability to present in front of large audiences at school and college events
  • A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle that can be used for work purposes
  • The ability to work flexibly as there will be some early morning and evening working required
