School Liaison and Events Coordinator

 

College location:   East Surrey College (Redhill) and John Ruskin College (Croydon)

Salary:                   £30,000 - £32,000 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)

Hours:                    Full time (37 hours/week)

 

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic School Liaison and Events Administrator to support the Marketing and School Liaison department with administration responsibilities including events. The jobholder will be required to work Cross-College between sites in Redhill and South Croydon, and to external events therefore flexibility is required. You will also be expected to work on occasional evenings.

You will have responsibility to provide full administrative support with Schools Liaison, Marketing and Events including support on the coordination and delivery of internal and external College events. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing to provide an effective administrative service. You will assist with both internal and external college Events and promote the professional image of the College at all times.

This post will suit a highly motivated and experienced administrator who has previously worked in a busy office environment, and is able to work at a fast pace. You will also have the ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload, as well as being able to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages 
  • A strong background in providing administrative support
  • Knowledge of effective administration processes and procedures
  • Previous experience of working in the education sector within Marketing is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise professionally with internal and external organisations
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
