Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 (a market supplement may apply subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
Orbital South Colleges currently have a number of exciting opportunities for inspirational and enthusiastic Graduates who are looking to begin a successful career in Teaching on our exciting Graduate Trainee Lecturer scheme and be paid whilst gaining a Teaching qualification.

In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to develop skills in the core duties of a lecturer whilst supporting and shadowing existing lecturers in class.
You will be funded to complete a DET (Diploma in Education and Training) teaching qualification, and apply the knowledge, skills and experience gained from the teacher training programme in your role.
The successful candidate must have:
- A degree with a specialism of either Mechanical Engineering, Built Environment or Electrical/Electronic Engineering and English.
- A driven, self-motivated attitude with a desire to succeed
- Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written)
- Strong IT Skills (including the use of Microsoft Office packages)
